Lucy and Woody Christianson

Lucy Christianson was born and raised in Superior, WI. As a young girl, she focused on learning and even completed two grades in one year. Lucy graduated from UW-Superior in 1942 with degrees in English, History, and French. She spent her professional career as a teacher, credit manager, and librarian for UW-Superior.

Woody Christianson was Chief Chemist at Murphy Oil in Superior, WI. Lucy and Woody married on October 31, 1942.
Woody passed away in 1988 and Lucy passed away at the age of 100 in 2021.

Lucy will be remembered for many things, and her sincere love for learning will live on.
