Superior Area Retired Educators Association

The Wisconsin Retired Educators Association was organized as the Wisconsin Retired Teachers’ Association (WRTA) in 1951. The WREA carries out its activities at district and state-wide meetings on special topics, as well as through local units and committees such as the Superior Area Retired Educators Association (SAREA). The association assists in training local leadership, holds state conventions, and monitors related legal rulings and actions.
