William and Olga Munnings

William and Olga Munnings were born and raised in Superior, WI. While neither of them earned a degree they valued education and learning, inspiring their family, which was very important to them. William was an avid gardener, wine maker, handyman, and environmentalist. They were generous with their time and money, supporting many causes that were important to them.

William passed away in 1984 in an accident while working for the Burlington Northern Railroad, leaving behind Olga and their four daughters. Olga continued his legacy by supporting local organizations and establishing a scholarship fund in William’s name. After Olga passed in 2007 their children continued to support the fund and renamed it in memory of their parents.
